TSUGAMI B0208 WE – MAXIMUM PRODUCTIVITY
Tsugami B0208 WE is a Swiss Type lathe ø20 mm with 8 linear axes and 2 C axes (10 CNC axes). Undoubtedly the most productive machine on the market. With very compact kinematics, two independent combs and highly optimised non-productive times, it enables time savings on all workpieces up to ø20 mm.
Its counter-operation system with eight tools, four of them motorised (including two radial tools) and with Y-axis allows, in turn, a completely symmetrical distribution of machining time between spindle and counter-spindle, regardless of the type of operation to be carried out.
As with the rest of the Tsugami range, this is a machine with the latest technologies. Not only are the spindle and tailstock fitted with built-in liquid-cooled motors, but the guidebush itself is built-in motor, eliminating all belt drive. The fact that no belts are mounted on the guidebush makes the change from guidebush to guidebushless machining of short workpieces even more straightforward.
The Abile automatic programming software, included in the machine’s basic package, allows the generation of programs from solids, their virtual simulation, collision checking and time calculation. Manual programming is also possible via its FANUC 31i-B control.
