Description
Tsugami B038TE is a Swiss Type turning center with a 38-millimeter bar pitch. With 9 linear axes plus two C axes, the B038TE consists of three independent tooling systems with three axes: a main spindle comb with turning and live tools, a three-axis turret with eight positions and a backspindle tooling system with capacity for six fixed and live tools.
Weighing more than 6 tons, B038TE has a rigid bed and great thermal stability.
Spindle and backspindle have built-in motors. The guidebush uses the “double spindle” system which helps to reduce the remnant of the bar.
