50 Years Mausa

MAUSA, A LEADING COMPANY IN ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING IN GIPUZKOA, CELEBRATES 50 YEARS OF HISTORY.

On 21 February, the 50th anniversary of the Gipuzkoan company Mausa was celebrated with a meeting attended by customers, authorities and institutions.

Among the attendees were the Deputy Minister of Industry of the Basque Government, Mikel Amundarain, and the Director of Economic Promotion of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, Unai Andueza, who dedicated a few words to highlight the importance of innovation and the commitment to new technologies made by Mausa as a strategic value for the industry of our country.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of important associations and institutions such as AFM, Bic Gipuzkoa, SPRI, Oarsoaldea, Addimat and Tekniker, among others. During the day, the attendees were able to visit its production centre, where traditional tooling is combined with new additive manufacturing techniques in plastic and metal. It is precisely the 3D printing line started in 2017 that has made Mausa one of the leading companies in the sector, being the first official HP partners at a national level. They have important clients in the automotive, medicine, orthopaedics, aeronautics and renewable energy sectors.
